Pastor Gus really believes that God has a great plan for Westridge Fellowship to minister to our home town Grand Prairie, but also to the world.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
We at Westridge Fellowship.com strive to make things as simple as possible so that everyone feels welcome and at home. When you come on a Sunday morning the dress code is usually business casual to casual but, whatever you feel comfortable wearing is fine.
Our worship music selection is very wide. You will almost always find both hymns and more contemporary music in the same set even though we do lean more on the contemporary side of worship.
Larry Rainey is our Worship Leader.
Larry felt the call to sing for the Lord at a Billy Graham Crusade when he was 15. Sixty years later he's "Still Singing!"
From youth minister, to singing coach, to Christian camp operations, there are too many churches, revivals and crusades to list, but he has always brought his humor and singing skills to the task.
Now, semi-retired, Larry is leading Sunday morning worship here at Westridge Fellowship, hoping to see the Church expand it's ministry to the point where youth and children’s music programs are needed.
